Assistant Professor

Ms. B. Mahalakshmi has more than 5 years of teaching experience in Computer Science subjects as well as mentoring students and developing curriculum. She is working as an Assistant Professor in Data Science at the Centre for Distance and Online Education of Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. She is skilled in conducting classes, guiding students in projects, helping with accreditation documentation, and online teaching through digital platforms.

     She holds an MCA degree from the University of Madras, which built a solid foundation in programming, software engineering, and principles of IT. This academic foundation in technical subjects and analytical skills assures that she can build a bridge between theory and practice, enabling her to instruct students effectively and contribute to curriculum development.

     Mahalakshmi has published 5 papers in UGC-approved journals, authored two books available on Amazon Kindle, and participated in 10 conferences, 5 symposiums, and 5 faculty development programs contributing actively to the academic front.
