Ms. D. Nandini is a dedicated and passionate educator with over 18 years of teaching
experience. She holds dual Master’s degrees in Applied Microbiology from Justice Basheer
Ahmed Sayeed College for Women and in Psychology from the University of Madras. Her
academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Women’s Christian
College and a Certificate in Guidance from Indira Gandhi National Open University. In
recognition of her commitment to pedagogy, she also earned a Bachelor of Education
degree from Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University.
With a strong passion for teaching English, Ms. Nandini has successfully nurtured students’
communication skills by fostering an environment of innovative and interactive learning. She
currently serves as a faculty at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research
(SRIHER).
Her academic contributions include presenting a research paper titled “Efficacy of Antibiotics
and Disinfectants on Bacterial Isolates from a Hospital Setting” at the XXVII National
Conference of the Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists (IAMM), Mumbai.
Recognized for her eloquence, she has received several accolades for her oratorical skills
and is admired as an engaging and impactful speaker.
Her growing interest in Psychology led her to undertake an internship in the Department of
Clinical Psychology at SRIHER, where she gained valuable practical exposure. She has also
developed a keen interest in intervention strategies for children with learning disabilities,
which she aspires to explore further in her future academic and research pursuits to make a
meaningful impact in the field.
