Assistant Professor
Ms. Sana Mohammed Kutty is an Assistant Professor at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER). She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Panakkad Mohammedali Shihav Thangal Arts and Science College, Kerela. During her postgraduate studies, she gained in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions.
She has over two years of experience in the field of counselling and student support. She began her professional journey as a Counselor at Al Manara Educational Services in Dubai, where she provided psychological support and career guidance to students across various age groups. Following that, she served for few years as a Student and Career Counselor at Velammal Ology Tech School in Chennai, focusing on academic counseling, career guidance, and emotional well-being. She gained practical experience in addressing a range of student concerns with empathy and professionalism, which enhanced her ability to mentor and guide young minds.
Her research focuses on the fundamental principles of human behavior and mental processes. She is also interested in exploring psychological disorders and the neurological mechanisms that influence behavior and cognition. These areas form the foundation for her current and future research pursuits in psychology.
