Faculty Member

Ms. D. Nandini is a passionate educator with over 18 years of teaching experience. She holds a dual master’s degree in Applied Microbiology and in Psychology from Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College for women and University of Madras respectively. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science from Women’s Christian College and Certificate of Guidance from Indira Gandhi National Open University. As a distinguished pedagogue she also earned a degree in Bachelor of Education from Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University. Her passion and dedication to teach English further allowed her to facilitate communication skills in students by creating an atmosphere for innovative learning.

     Presently, she serves as a faculty at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. She had presented a paper on “Efficacy of antibiotics and disinfectants on bacterial isolates from a hospital setting” at the XXVII National Conference of Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists (IAMM), Mumbai. A vivid orator and recipient of many awards for her oratorical skills.

     Her keen interest in exploring in the field of Psychology let her to take up an internship in the Department of Clinical Psychology at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education which enabled her to gain practical experience. Further she exhibits research interest in comparative study of psycho-social development and learning disorders in children of healthy mothers and mothers with fertility issues –An explorative study. This area will form the basis for her future research pursuit in the field of Psychology.
